My mission as a pediatric dentist is to create healthy, happy smiles while nurturing a love for dental care that lasts a lifetime. I believe in the power of prevention, early education, and personalized care to ensure every child develops the habits and confidence they need for lifelong oral health.
At the heart of my philosophy is a commitment to treating each child with kindness, patience, and respect. I understand that every child is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs.
I have been practicing pediatric dentistry for 16 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with departmental distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001. I then graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2006. Following dental school, I completed my pediatric dental residency in 2008 at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to working in private practice at MPDC, I serve on the Board of Trustees Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Hospital. I have also provided free dental care to underserved children both internationally and domestically as a medical mission volunteer through Dorcas Medical Missions. I had the privilege of working with families in Ghana, Africa and New Orleans, LA, post Hurricane Katrina. I am passionate about teaching and dental health advocacy and enjoy touring local schools and teaching kids how oral health can be fun.
When I’m not working you can find me on the sideline of a soccer field or traveling with my family, which includes my husband and son.
